WHAT IS THE GAP YEAR ABOUT?

The Legacy School of Music Gap Year Program is like no other. This program is designed just for you. Sure, there is a course outline, but you are mentored as an individual, around your requirements.

Candidates are interviewed through a detailed process of identifying both talent and determination to craft the best year of musical development that strips away all the fluff and focuses primarily on the outcomes that will allow you to develop into the best version yourself.

The course  is made up of subject choices that are based around a Major and a Minor.

Students are required to choose between.

Vocals

Guitar

Piano

Drums

Bass

Music Production

As their main 2 subjects with Music Business, Aural Training and Music Theory as their set, compulsory subjects totaling 5 subjects.

Students attend for only around 5 hours of class time per week, allowing for plenty of practice time or even time to hold down a part time job.

Throughout the year, students are presented with various projects and assessments that will include live performances or studio time or both.
